Send payments quickly and securely with Wire Transfer Services. Whether your payment is to a domestic or international recipient (beneficiary), a Wire Transfer is usually the most efficient method of payment. Domestic Wire Transfers are typically received within hours of initiation. International Wire Transfers can take longer due to the number of intermediary banks and countries that may be involved in the payment process. International wires can be sent in US dollars (USD) or foreign currency.
How It Works
- There are multiple ways to initiate Wire Transfers:
- Call our office and ask to speak with a wire department representative.
- Email your Wire Transfer request and instructions to wires@signaturebankna.com.
- Dual control is available.
- Online Wire Transfers for Businesses (Separate Wire Transfer Agreement required):
- Wire Transfers can be created and submitted online, Monday through Friday during normal business hours (excluding Federal holidays).
- Templates can be created for repetitive Wire Transfers. Once a template is created in Online Banking, the instructions cannot be changed; however, the reference information and amount can be adjusted as needed.
- Online Wire Transfers require the use of an authentication device (secure token). The initiation of Wire Transfers also requires a PIN to be entered in Online Banking.
- Please note: Foreign currency wires cannot be initiated through Online Banking. For assistance, please contact our Wire Transfer team at wires@signaturebankna.com.
- Regardless of how you initiate your Wire Transfer request, a call back is required to confirm authenticity of the request. A wire department representative will call and speak to an authorized account signer. The call back process can be customized based on the quantity of Wire Transfers being requested each day.
- Cutoff Times
- Domestic and international wires in USD: 4:00 PM ET.
- International wires in foreign currency: 3:00 PM ET.
- Ask your Signature Bank representative about the costs associated with Wire Transfer Services.

- Determine which authorized Online Banking user(s) will have Wire Transfer capabilities.
- Discuss whether dual control of the Wire Transfer process is appropriate for your business.
- Meet with your Signature Bank representative to discuss your specific Wire Transfer needs.
- Review and sign the Wire Transfer Agreement.
- Once the Wire Transfer Agreement is signed, our Online Banking team will arrange training for your authorized Online Banking users.
Signature Bank only offers Wire Transfer Services to existing clients.
