Utilizing the eDeposit check scanner, eDeposit allows you to safely deposit checks electronically via our secure eDeposit website. Plus, it saves you time by eliminating trips to the bank to deposit checks.
How It Works
- eDeposit check scanners work in conjunction with our secure eDeposit website, allowing you to log in and scan check payments each business day.
- Physical checks must be held in a secure location for 60-90 days after scanning and then destroyed. Shredding is the preferred method of destruction.
- Foreign checks in United States dollar (USD) or foreign currency cannot be scanned through the eDeposit check scanner and must be brought to the bank for processing.
- Cutoff Times
- Checks scanned for deposit before 5:00 PM ET will be processed on the same business day.
- Checks scanned for deposit after 5:00 PM ET will be processed on the next business day.
Next Steps

- Meet with your Signature Bank representative to discuss your specific eDeposit needs.
- Review and sign the eDeposit agreement.
- Once the eDeposit agreement is signed, our Online Banking team will arrange training for your authorized users.
