We want to make you aware of an active impersonation scam affecting some Signature Bank clients.
Fraudsters are making unsolicited phone calls, texts, and emails while falsely claiming to be bank employees in an attempt to obtain sensitive login information such as account numbers, usernames, passwords, and two-factor authentication (2FA) codes. In many cases, these scammers present themselves as fraud prevention specialists, claiming they are contacting you to help stop suspicious activity. This approach can make the scheme appear legitimate and urgent.
We believe these scams are being carried out using publicly available information from sources like business registrations, social media, and online directories. Signature Bank will never ask for your credentials or verification codes.
